To love means to commit
oneself without a guarantee,
to give oneself
completely in hope
that our love will produce love
in the loved person.
When I met you I liked you,
when I liked you I loved you,
when I loved you I lost you.
If there is anything better
than to be loved it is loving.
Why is it easy to fall in love
and yet so hard to be loved back?
